  The seminar will be held at Shire Highlands Hotel at 3pm and refreshments will be provided.

• Seminar on Practice Management - date to be announced

  Mr Krishna Savjani SC will be presenting a seminar on Practice Management to assist lawyers who are acquiring more management responsibilities within their firms or who are setting up or have set up, their own firms. The seminar aims to provide guidance on how to manage a firm effectively to ensure that professional standards are maintained.

• Workshop on draft Legal Practitioners Bill - 28 to 29 July 2006

  The Law Society will be holding a second workshop to consider the draft Legal Practitioners Bill. The draft Bill was workshopped on 4 March and the Law Society and as a result, further work has been carried out on the draft. This second workshop is aimed at discussing this further draft, ensuring consultation across all sections of the legal profession and other stakeholders, and finalising the draft.
